HillSprings Academy is a nonprofit, tuition based, half-day school (with a student-to-teacher ratio of no more than 4:1) for students in grades 1-8 who have learning differences. These can include specific learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and/or ADHD. We are committed to providing a short-term, accelerated skill acquisition program that provides students the opportunity to achieve at a level commensurate with their intellectual abilities. In addition, our program is designed to help students develop a positive self-concept. This is achieved through successful experiences and an understanding of their individual learning styles. Our goal is to prepare students to be independent learners in a regular classroom setting and to assist them with setting realistic expectations for themselves.
