HillSprings Academy is a nonprofit, tuition based, half-day school (with a student-to-teacher ratio of no more than 4:1) for students in grades 1-8 who have learning differences. These can include specific learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and/or ADHD. We are committed to providing a short-term, accelerated skill acquisition program that provides students the opportunity to achieve at a level commensurate with their intellectual abilities. In addition, our program is designed to help students develop a positive self-concept. This is achieved through successful experiences and an understanding of their individual learning styles. Our goal is to prepare students to be independent learners in a regular classroom setting and to assist them with setting realistic expectations for themselves.
Join us for this exclusive cocktail reception and benefit concert to be held at The Pinery at the Hill on Thursday, October 13, 2016, from 6:00-8:30 p.m. We are thrilled that Steve Barta, Grammy-nominated concert pianist and HillSprings parent, will delight friends of HillSprings with a jazz concert of his original compositions.
